Epic Final Hand! Vladimir Korzinin Wins Triton Monte Carlo $150K NLH

🃏 Board (Community Cards):

5♠ 6♠ 4♣ 9♦ 3♥

🧓 Vladimir Korzinin (Right):

Hole Cards: 7♠ 2♠
Final Hand: 7-high straight3♠ 4♣ 5♠ 6♠ 7♠

Even though suits aren't all the same, this is a perfect 7-high straight (3-4-5-6-7), built from both hole cards (7♠ 2♠) and three cards on the board (3♥ 4♣ 5♠ 6♠).

His 2♠ isn't directly used in the straight, but the 7♠ is crucial.

😎 Ossi Ketola (Left):

Hole Cards: K♥ 9♣
Final Hand: One Pair (Nines) — from 9♣ in his hand and 9♦ on the board.

No straight, no flush. Just a pair of nines.

Result:

  • Vladimir wins the pot with a 7-high straight.

  • Ossi just has a pair of nines, which is no match.

  • The pot is 10.75 million, and the 7-2 hand (the literal worst in poker) comes out on top in epic fashion.

🎯 Why This Is Legendary:

  • 7-2 offsuit is the worst hand in Texas Hold'em, with virtually no straight or flush potential — most players fold it pre-flop.

  • Vladimir not only played it, he hit a miracle straight and stacked someone with it.

  • That makes it meme-worthy — thus:

“This old man proved that 7-2 hand never loses.”

(But of course... it usually does 😄)
