Tony G crowned a winner against Ivey and Dwan in a high stakes game on a private jet

Just recently,
Tony G posted on his Twitter account that he won in a high stakes cash game again. The other players who were playing this game were Phil Ivey, Paul Phua and Tom Dwan. The game was taking place high above the clouds.

The group was returning from the Bahamas after the final of partypoker Caribbean Poker Party on a private jet (owned by Paul Phua).

They were playing 5+ Hold’em (but also removing all the sixes from the deck) and Short Deck with a buy-in of 1,000,000 HKD ($127,000). The exact results are unknown to the public, but Tony G finished the game as the biggest winner.

Falling in love with the poker game again

Even though, Tony G, his real name Antanas Guoga, has been more or less absent from the poker felts in the past few years due to his political carrier in the EU parliament, we can lately see Tony G returning to the poker scene.

He has been playing in more and more high stake games and has even said himself, he had fallen in love with poker again.

Tony G Says He's Made $100 Million in the Past Year

Tony G has long played in the highest stakes poker games, so it won't come as a surprise to anyone who has followed his career that he's extremely wealthy. But the amount of money he claims to have made in the past year shocked the TikTok personality who recently interviewed him.

The former Lithuanian politician and PokerNews founder is one of the most polarizing figures in poker. He was either a fan favorite or most despised player on TV during the poker boom era, depending on who you ask. But he's mellowed out in recent years and doesn't berate his opponents when he appears on shows such as Hustler Casino Live or the Triton Poker livestreams.

Where High-Stakes Poker Player Makes his Money

Antanas Guoga, Tony G's birth name, still plays poker at the highest stakes, but his main source of income comes from his various entrepreneurial ventures and investments. TikTok content creator @millionaireadvice2 caught the poker player as he was getting out of a luxury automobile in Dubai to gain some insight into his wealth.

Patrick Leonard, an online poker crusher and World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, shared the TikTok video on X.

"What do you do out here in Dubai to afford a Rolls Royce," the content creator asked the former member of the European Parliament.

"I run a blockchain company," Tony G answered. Guoga has previously been an ambassador of cryptocurrency online poker site CoinPoker.

The interviewer then questioned the high-stakes gambler on how long he's been a business owner, to which Tony G replied: "Since I was a kid, but this company for five years." The TikTok content creator went on to ask Tony G to share his greatest financial year, and he was blown away by the response.

"Last year was $100 million," Tony G responded.

"You made $100 million last year? Is that for yourself or the business?"

Tony G explained that he personally made $100 million in income last year, and that his company also turned a profit. The poker player then said his net worth is around $300 million and gave the viewers some financial advice.

"Look, first you have to make it. You go all in on your idea because you don't have money. But when you have money you have to be diversified. That's very important to be balanced, so you cannot be too aggressive on anything. But when you're making the first hundred million, just go for it. You have to be crazy, insane, never giving up," Tony G advises.
